Absolutely not what I was expecting. Low quality and not anything like a proper absorbent towel. More like a chamois! Currently awaiting a refund which has been a process in itself.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. We’re sorry the poncho wasn’t what you expected. Just to clarify, our short-sleeve quick-dry ponchos are made from the same fabric as our sand-free towels: they have a more suede-like feel as listed in the product info. They are sand-resistant because they don’t contain open loops like traditional cotton towels. The flat-woven design makes them lightweight, quick-drying, and easy to wear over swimwear, which is why they feel different from traditional plush towels or cover-ups. We also have organic cotton options on our site.

We also responded to your return request via email in less than an hour and have provided instructions for a smooth refund. We are still awaiting the return. We always welcome feedback and hope this helps clarify the poncho’s purpose and design.
