Refund policy

Returns & Exchanges

We love our sustainable products and we hope you do too! However, if for any reason you don’t, you’re eligible for a return or exchange within 30 days of purchase. Please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order to let us know you’d like to make a return or exchange. For pick-up orders, the 30-day return period applies from the date of fulfilment.

If you wish to return/exchange your order, please email us at support@somerside.com.au with your order number, and we’ll be happy to assist.

Return Shipping

Return shipping and any associated costs are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend using a trackable service, as we are not responsible for lost or damaged returns. For exchanges, we cover the shipping cost of the replacement item, except for items purchased on sale.

Holiday Returns During Promotional Periods

Please note that we do not offer extended Christmas return periods for purchases made during our Green Friday or other promotional sales events. As a small business, we’re unable to provide both large discounts and extended return windows. We kindly ask that you purchase mindfully during these sales, as the terms are clearly outlined and apply to all orders.

Item Condition

Items must be returned unused, with original tags and packaging. Once we receive your returned items, we will assess them and process your refund within 1-2 business days. Please note that shipping costs are non-refundable.

Final Sale & Sample Sale Items

Items marked final sale or sample sale cannot be returned or exchanged. This will be clearly stated in the product title or description.

Returns on Discounted or Sale Items

Discounted or sale items (excluding items marked final sale) are eligible for return; however, a $9.95 shipping/restock fee will be deducted from your refund. Final-sale items are not eligible for return.

Faulty Products 

If you receive faulty or incorrectly supplied items we will happily refund or exchange it for you at our own expense. Should there be a problem with your SomerSide product, please take a photo and contact us at support@somerside.com.au.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at support@somerside.com.au.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you would like to exchange it for another item please send us an email at hello@somerside.com.au
